Grant Programs
Each year the Selkirk Association of Realtors holds fundraisers for their grant application and scholarship programs. Please show your support for these wonderful functions. If you know of a group that could benefit from the SAR grant program be sure to fill out and application in 2009.
The 2008 grant recipients were:
City of Clark Fork Non-profit Service Organization – Reconstruct baseball diamond, consession and bleacher/dugout repairs
Hope/Clark Fork Food Bank – Facility maintenance
Community Cancer Services – Funds for adjacent space for clients with shut off utilities
Disabled American Veterans, Chapter #15 – Funds towards van replacement
Sandpoint Teen Council – “Bags of Love” for children affected by meth
Transitions in Progress Services (Formerly BC Homeless Task Force) – Lawn tractor / snow blower funds
City of Sandpoint Parks and Recreation – Sports Program Scholarships
Lost in the 50’s – Traffic control for parade
Love, Inc. – Provide new shoes for children in need
North Idaho Area Agency on Aging – Snacks for Bonner Adult Day Center
Panhandle Special Needs – Funds towards renovating Life Skills portion of building
Veterans of Foreign Wars – Funds for furniture replacement and addition of insullation
W. Bonner County Food Bank (Priest River) – Conveyor / roller
